There are people in the world who don’t mind dancing behind those in the spotlight, and then there are those whose fear is ending up being the ‘backup.’ Those people console themselves with the thought that they never cared much about being in the spotlight anyway and that being part of the show is good enough for them. This short film follows the journey of ELENA, a charismatic yet humble backup dancer who reflects on her life and dreams. Despite her extraordinary talent, she remains a step behind the spotlight, offering an introspective look at the world of entertainment from the perspective of those who bring the magic but don’t take the bow.
